This Free PD session with Teacher Retention Specialist David McDuffie focuses on sharing the few yet powerful, culture-altering strategies school staff supervising Generation Alpha children & teens can employ today. Become the Rizzler in your school by listening to John the Baptist. The impact of listening:
As a Black Educator, I'm empowered to use my voice (even if opposed) to strengthen school culture.
As a Male Educator, I accept that being vulnerable and confessing faults in my classroom with help my students grow academically AND social-emotionally.
As a Husband/Father, repenting for mistakes of the past and asking forgiveness from my wife and children restores family relationships allowing us to have more quality time together.
As a Christian, I'm convicted to share more, don't go overboard when endorcing policies, and be content with earnings while serving Jesus trusting God will supply even more than I desire. I'm also reminded that I will be persecuted for following Jesus and proclaiming his name in school but, that's okay. Better than okay, because I'm vying for a greater prize with my abba father.
Objective: We can & will produce good fruits through repentance
Biblical base: Luke 3 | Word of the week: Repent
